Central Florida College, located in Orlando, Florida, is now part of RETS College, which is headquartered in Centerville, Ohio. Founded in 1953 as part of RETS Electronic Schools in Detroit, the school grew to other centers across the country.
In 2003, the RETS college system was acquired by the Education Management Corporation. RETS has added disciplines over the years to its class offerings, including electronics, climate control technology, business, computer applications, medical assistance, paralegal studies, nursing and travel and tourism.
