Agriculture Network Information Center
"AgDB is a database directory of quality agriculture-related databases, datasets, and information systems. It describes and links to more than 1,000 information resources.
Research in Agricultural and Applied Economics
"A Full Text Library of Agricultural and Applied Economics Scholarly Literature"
"...collects, indexes, and electronically distributes full text copies of scholarly research in the broadly defined field of agricultural economics including sub disciplines such as agribusiness, food supply, natural resource economics, environmental economics, policy issues, agricultural trade, and economic development."
Maintained at the University of Minnesota by Magrath Library and the Department of Applied Economics.
Agricultural Market Access Database (AMAD)
"AMAD results from a co-operative effort by Agriculture and AgriFood Canada, EU Commission - Agriculture Directorate-General, Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, The World Bank, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, United States Department of Agriculture - Economic Research Service."
Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators (ASTI)
"...compiles, processes, and makes available internationally comparable data on institutional developments and investments in agricultural R&D worldwide, and analyzes and reports on these trends in the form of occasional policy digests for research policy formulation and priority setting purposes. The project involves a large amount of original and ongoing survey work focused on developing countries, but also maintains access to relevant data for developed countries produced by the OECD Science and Technology Indicators unit, the U.S. National Science Foundation, and other similar agencies."
Sections include: ASTI Databases ; Country Profiles ; Publications.

A Small Grains and Sugercane Database
"...is a compilation of molecular and phenotypic information on wheat, barley, rye, oats and sugarcane."
Gramene: A Comprehensive Mapping Resource for Grains
"...to create a curated, open-source, Web-accessible data resource for comparative genome analysis in the grasses. Data formerly in RiceGenes is now integrated in Gramene. Our goal is to facilitate the study of cross-species homology relationships using information derived from public projects involved in genomic and EST sequencing, protein structure and function analysis, genetic and physical mapping, interpretation of biochemical pathways, gene and QTL localization and descriptions of phenotypic characters and mutations."
Maize Mapping Project
"An Integrated Genetic and Physical Map for Maize, to provide the draft foundation for complete or partial sequencing of this most important US crop, is approximately half complete. The target is to define contiguous, overlapping physical pieces (contigs) of the maize genome to the greatest extent possible."
Sections include: Integrated Map ; Maps ; Bio-Informatics ; Resources ; Education/Outreach ; About ; Data Access.
Collaboration of researchers at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Clemson University, and the University of Georgia.
Pesticide Action Network - PAN Pesticide Database
"...brings together a diverse array of information on pesticides from many different sources, providing human toxicity (chronic and acute), ecotoxicity and regulatory information for about 6,400 pesticide active ingredients and their transformation products, as well as adjuvants and solvents used in pesticide products ... This database of active ingredients has been integrated with the U.S. EPA product databases, which provide information on formulated products (the form of the pesticide that growers and consumers purchase for use) containing the active ingredients. The information is most complete for pesticides registered for use in the United States."
PLANTS National Database
"The PLANTS database includes checklists, distributional data, crop information, plants symbols, plant growth data, references and other plant information."
